manjaro - surface book 2

Kleine Anleitung um ein Manjaro auf einem Surface Book 2 ans laufen zu bekommen. Ziel ist ein Linux Tablet um im Internet zu surfen... Hier werden nur Abweichungen bzw. spezielle Einstellungen für das Surface Book erfasst, weiter geht es abgespeckt mit dem nötigsten mit meiner manjaro - gnome und manjaro - kde 💚 Anleitung.

Installation

curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/linux-surface/linux-surface/master/pkg/keys/surface.asc | sudo pacman-key --add -
sudo pacman-key --finger 56C464BAAC421453
sudo pacman-key --lsign-key 56C464BAAC421453
sudo nano /etc/pacman.conf
    [linux-surface]
    Server = https://pkg.surfacelinux.com/arch/
pamac update
pamac install linux-firmware-marvell linux-firmware-intel linux-surface linux-surface-headers iptsd

sudo systemctl enable --now iptsd

Konfiguration

• Dash to Panel > TOP
• Keine Desktop Icons
• Automatische Helligkeit deaktivieren
